No. In my opinion the solution should be to only release a persistent identifier (as an attribute) when the user wants to use the personalization, so we will look at optionally releasing attributes in the medium/long term.

Yes I remeber a number of Talks Ken Klingenstein gave on that. Concept-wise I think it is good stuff. There also is an integration with Shibboleth IdP done by Shilen Patel also from Duke Univerity. But to be honest, I am not familiar who except Duke is using it
