There have been a couple of small changes since my last message as we
had to reduce two 45-minute sessions to 40-minute sessions.
Please book your place at the conference using the free code that we
sent you last week. *I* know you are coming, but the booking system
drives things like the provision of food so if you want to eat...
We forgot to ask about dietary requirements earlier. If you need
vegetarian or other specific food please let us know by amending your
booking on Eventbrite or by mailing ldap2015(a)ukuug.org - I cannot
guarantee that we can provide everything but we will pass on your
requests to the caterers.
We now have some information about the projectors. The one that will
be used for main conference sessions is a NEC PA600X. Resolution is
1024x768 and the connector is VGA. There are some adaptors available
but it would be wise to bring your own if you want to use your own
laptop with the projector. There will be a PC available but it only
has Windows 7 with MS Office 2013 and a PDF viewer. It does not have
OpenOffice or LibreOffice :-(
